RABBITS

Rabbits are great loving and social pets. However, they each have their own personalities and some may like interaction with you more than others. To get a pet you must be ready for any personality! But no matter your rabbit's personality, you two can have a loving relationship!

Since rabbits need interaction, you must have two or more rabbits. If a rabbit is alone they can grow lonely and depressed.

Since they are bigger than other rodents, they need lots of space - either a very large encolusre or they can be freeroamed. They like to chew, so you will need to protect things around your house.

  • Rabbits are crepescular and are mainly awake at dawn and dusk.

  • Rabbits are social and most enjoy interaction with people and other rabbits.

  • Since rabbits create burrows in the wild, they enjoy digging.

  • Domesticated rabbits' lifespan is 5-12 depending on care, breed, and more.

  • Pet rabbits are usually about 6 to 10 pounds in weight.

  • Rabbits are herbivores.

  • While rabbits cannot be housed alone, they should be in same-sex groups to prevent breeding. Only professional, licensed breeders should be breeding animals.

Information will be expanded on in other pages regarding rabbits; this is merely an overview of them
